一、学校学院简介

江南大学坐落于太湖之滨的长三角经济区几何中心江苏无锡，是教育部直属、国家“211工程”重点建设高校和“双一流”学科建设高校。

外国语学院现有教职工123人（专任教师107人），其中教授13人，副教授26人；下设英语系、日语系、大学英语一部、大学英语二部等教学单位，设有外国语言文学一级学科硕士学位授权点和英语、日语两个本科专业。在教育部办公厅公布的2021年度国家级和省级一流本科专业建设点名单中，我院英语专业和日语专业分别被认定为国家级一流本科专业建设点和省级一流本科专业建设点。

为更好地适应时代经济社会发展需要，满足长三角地区涉外法治人才需求，结合英语、日语专业学生的长期发展需要与学校特色，培养具有国际视野的复合型涉外法治人才，特设立英语/日语涉外法治人才卓越创新班，现向全球诚聘法学方向教师。

二、招聘岗位

（一）需求岗位

法学方向外国专家和外教，教授课程主要包括：法律辩论与谈判事务、民商法、刑法学总论、国际商事仲裁理论与实务、国际私法、国际经济法。

（二）招聘对象

具有硕士及以上学位，在海内外高校、科研机构或律师事务所担任正式教学、科研或有律师执业经验的法学专业人士，英语/日语口语表达标准流畅，母语为英语/日语的博士优先。

Recruitment Announcement for Law Teachers at the School of Foreign Studies, Jiangnan University

I. Introduction to the University and School

Jiangnan University, situated in Wuxi by beautiful Taihu Lake, is a national key “211 Project” university and is selected into “First-Class Discipline Project”, falling under the Ministry of Education.

Jiangnan University’s roots stretch back to 1902 when its predecessor, San Jiang Normal School, began its first term. In 1958, Jiangnan University began its independent existence as Wuxi Institute of Light Industry, which later merged with two other colleges in 2001, and was renamed as Jiangnan University by the Ministry of Education. The university, with the area of 208 hectares, consists of 22 schools and is the home to 3,333 staff and faculty members, 21,065 full-time undergraduates, 12,857 postgraduates and 277 international students.

Known as “the pearl of China’s higher education in light industry”, Jiangnan University has launched a new journey toward the strategic objective of “building itself into a research-driven university with distinctive characteristics”, abiding by the motto of “learning and practice to perfection”.

The School of Foreign Studies of Jiangnan University has 123 faculty members (107 full-time teachers), including 13 professors and 26 associate professors. The School consists of such teaching units of Department of English, Department of Japanese, College English Department One, College English Department Two. We offer three master’s programs related to foreign languages, literature and translation, as well as English and Japanese undergraduate programs. According to the assessment of China’s Ministry of Education in 2021, its English and Japanese undergraduate programs were ranked the first-class on the national level and the provincial level respectively.

In order to better meet the needs of economic and social development, adapt to the demand for international legal talents in the Yangtze River Delta region, combined with the long-term development needs of English and Japanese majors and the characteristics of our university, we have set up English and Japanese innovation classes to cultivate interdisciplinary legal talents with international vision. Now we are looking for teachers in the field of law from all over the world for the innovation classes.

II. Recruitment Positions

1) Job Description

We are looking for foreign experts and foreign teachers majoring in law to deliver the following courses: Legal Debate and Negotiation Affairs, Civil and Commercial Law, General Theory of Criminal Law, International Commercial Arbitration Theory and Practice, International Private Law, International Economic Law.

2) Recruitments

We are seeking legal professionals who are working as teachers, researchers or lawyers in universities, scientific research institutions or law firms in China or other countries. Applicants should be able to communicate fluently in English, or preferably a native speaker of English. A master's degree is required, and PhD degree holders are preferred.
